Mara Elise Lois Miskovsky

Mara Elise Lois Miskovsky Mara Elise Lois Miskovsky, our pretty bird, flew home into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on July 13, 2007. Although she was with us for only 20 months, she forever impacted the lives of all who met her. Mara had a contagious laugh and it was often heard when she was playing with her big brother, Grantham, and her many cousins. Mara loved reading books, snuggling with babies, dancing, swimming, and tumbling at her gymnastics class.

Mara’s mommy and daddy will forever miss her beautiful face, her playful, loving nature, and her big hugs and “surprise” kisses. Her entire family looks forward to the day when we are reunited with this amazing baby girl.

Mara wasn’t with us long enough to have a favorite color or a favorite flower, but she loved all animals. She could make the best piggy noises and fishy faces and could roar better than any tiger that ever lived. Her parents established a memorial endowment with the Heifer Foundation in May of 2008 so that Mara’s love of animals can serve as her legacy.
